Santa and his elves are skiing into Canada Water
After last year’s successful Santa’s workshop, we’re excited to welcome the big man and his elves back to Surrey Quays Shopping Centre this Christmas in a brand new way. Join in our fun, free, interactive and very festive skiing adventure at Canada Water from Thursday 23rd November to Saturday 23rd December.
Santa’s cosy Nordic ski lodge will be decked out with twinkling lights and beautiful decorations. Bring the kids down and have a jolly good time as we celebrate the most wonderful time of the year.
On arrival at the lodge, children can dress up in slope-ready ski gear ready for their tutorial from our friendly elf helpers (poles and goggles included) or ride the wheelchair-accessible magic toboggan. They will then be taken on a fun-packed big-screen adventure where they’ll meet Mrs Claus and Rudolph and head off on a jaw-dropping journey over snowy slopes, encountering surprises along the way.
Santa’s little skiers will sing songs, hear stories and help Santa deliver presents to children around the world. After waving goodbye to Santa’s wife and the reindeer, they’ll be presented with their very own Santa’s Little Skiers certificate to take home.
The experience is wheelchair accessible and SEND-friendly to make sure everybody can join in the festivities. We’ve made sure there's plenty of unobstructed space, and purpose-built props like our wheelchair-accessible toboggan are available for all sessions. We're also hosting sign language performers on Saturday 2nd, 16th and 23rd December.
Our head elves, Sally Snowflake and Candy Cane, have created the above video so that you can learn more about Santa’s Little Skiers. They'll talk you through your ski experience so you’re well prepared before you hit the slopes – children with autism may find this helps them to enjoy the session to the full. If you have any specific needs please contact us in advance and we’ll do our best to advise and accommodate.

Santa’s Little Skiers at Surrey Quays Shopping Centre is free to visit with no need to book in advance – just drop in and enjoy the fun. It’s open from 11am to 4pm* on the following dates during the build-up to Christmas:
