Practise your sketching

Hone your sketching skills with a free guided drop-in session by Rod Kitson at Surrey Quays Shopping Centre, Saturday 5 March or Saturday 12 March. 

Rod has been Surrey Quays’ artist in residence since 2019, working from his Art of Isolation Gallery upstairs at the Shopping Centre. Rod focuses on the act of making art as much as the final outcome, actively involving local people and inspiring creativity through community workshops and collaborative art exhibitions.

Rod will be leading the sessions outside The Range from 1-3pm on both Saturdays. Everyone is welcome to drop by and spend a few minutes sketching our live model Goldilocks, and the three bears – whatever your age or confidence level. All materials are provided, just turn up and draw!
