Fisher FC Community Day Saturday 30 October

Get Involved! Head down to Fisher FC’s Community Day this Saturday for family activities, free pie and mash and to find out more about community activities in SE16

Local football club, Fisher FC, are hosting a community day on Saturday 30th October 2021 from 1.30pm at St Paul’s ground on Salter Rd. The day will include fundraising activities for local community groups and charities ‘Proper Blokes Club’, ‘Time & Talents’ and ‘Lions Foodhub’, ahead of Fisher’s home game against Deal Town which kicks off at 3pm.

Fisher FC is a supporter-owned and run football club based in Rotherhithe. As a finale to their Fish in the Community month they are opening their doors this weekend to welcome all to learn more about the club, meet with fellow fans and catch some excellent football to boot.

Several local groups and charities will be in attendance talking about the great work they do in the community and opportunities to get involved. There will also be competitions to win some excellent Millwall merchandise, and an under 9s penalty shootout, for those keen to test their ball skills and raise money. All money raised will be shared equally with the charities present on the day.

We are proud to have been the main shirt sponsor of Fisher FC since their return to the St Paul’s ground in 2018. We support them because we believe in the power of local football to bring people together from across the community, inspire a healthy and active lifestyle, and love the fact that they are fan-owned and run. We can wholeheartedly recommend heading down for a game to meet your neighbours and experience the magic of a Fisher home game
